Current Favourite Eyeshadow Palettes

Eyeshadow has never really been my favourite part of my make up routine, I find it can be messy and as I'm someone who prefers to apply my concealer before I create any eye look, fall down is at times inevitable and thus super annoying. Despite this, with great eyeshadow palettes making a home in my collection I find myself enjoying the process of applying eyeshadow more now, and these products are a huge reason why.

All three of these have separate but equally positive reviews on my blog and they all very quickly became fast favourites of mine after the first use. Charlotte Tilbury Dolce Vita Luxury Palette, Make Up Geek Eyshadows in a small Z Palette and MeMeMe Cosmetics Ultimate Eye Palette Soft Rose

Charlotte Tilbury Dolce Vita Luxury Palette: With a clue in the name, this is a luxurious palette, pricey at £38 as expected of Charlotte Tilbury, but worth the money all the same. All four shades are different, but equally lovely, and this palette in particular is very versatile, helping to create perfect differing looks for day time through to night. Full review here.

Make Up Geek Eyeshadows & Z Palette: I was so happy when these were finally made available for UK purchase on Beauty Bay and have a review here of the first three shades I picked out. I recently purchased three more and I am so happy with the colours I added to my collection 'latte,' taupe notch' and 'mocha' all compliment each other when used together or work well on their own. I really recommend Make Up Geek eye shadows, there are so many colours to choose from, they are easy to blend and all super pigmented. Z Palette, also available at Beauty Bay have a range of different sizes and colours to choose from to store your eye shadows in.

MeMeMe Cosmetics Ultimate Eye Palette Soft Rose: Eight subtle but lovely shades to choose from, a mix of matte and shimmer shades, these are not overly pigmented, but they can be easily built up, and the palette comes with a handy brush. Read more about it here, plus more products from MeMeMe Cosmetics.

Bloggers Fashion Week Must Haves - Part Three

Sensationail Polish To Gel Kit & Lab 2 Beauty Blending Sponge

The Sensationail Polish To Gel Kit is recently new in at Boots in the UK, and I have a full review on this, which you can find here, as this was also a part of London Fashion week, and I am not surprised that this is included in the must have lists for bloggers fashion week. This is a quick and easy at home gel nail kit, which creates salon like nails and lasts for me, at least four days without chipping, depending on which nail polish you use. I am also running a competition to win the kit along with two ciate nail polishes which you can find here
Lab 2 Beauty, now available on Amazon provide a range of make up brushes and I was sent their sponge applicator for liquid and cream foundation. I don't use cream foundations often, but I can say that it works really well with liquid foundations, giving a perfect, smooth and flawless finish without any streaks and lines, that I find you can sometimes get when using a sponge with foundation. When wet the sponge increases in size, giving you more to work with and the shape and pointed edge makes it easy to access parts of the face when blending.

Weleda
Uses pure natural ingredients that support skin and enhances natural vitality.
Skin food for dry skin - This is a whole body cream for dry skin of all ages, it helps to restore smoothness which I noticed happened so soon after application, and I apply it on my elbows, hands and feet where I get the most dry. It has a clean and fresh scent but is not overwhelming and really does do what it says it does. Definitely one worth purchasing if you have dry skin!

Ioma Paris
This skincare range is my favourite from the must haves list. IOMA creates products that offer personalised precision skincare for the specific features of your skin.
Vitality Shot Serum - Newly released this month 'the first personalised radiance creator serum' targeted at those of us who are stressed, tired, with a washed out complexion and would like to gain a radiant glow to the skin. You can use this mixed with your day cream or on its own as a serum before your day cream. I like to use it as a stand alone product, and the dropper nozzle makes it easy to use. It gives my skin a radiance boost, which I love in the morning before I apply my make up. It is suitable for all skin types, and gives a boost due to the vitamin c within the formula that neutralises the effects of fatigue. I adore this product, and really love the results.
Weekend Ritual Tabs - Designed to slip into every suitcase, these seven single doses of five skincare treatments offer care for skin over the weekend, providing you with everything you need; cleansing milk, day cream, cell protector SPF50 and a gentle ex-foliating emulsion. I am yet to use these as I want to keep them for when I travel, but I really believe these will be great after loving the serum so much! I really recommend checking out this brand! Available in the UK at Harrods, Look Fantastic and Feel Unique.

UFit and Collagen Beauty Milk
Ufit chocolate flavour high protein shake - delicious whilst reaping the benefits this is designed to 'support the demands of an active lifestyle and can help keep you healthy and on top of your day.' It is great as a snack and fills you up, 22g of protein and no added sugar.
Collagen Beauty Milk  Strawberry Flavour- enriched with vitamins and antioxidants, this is also great for a snack or with breakfast, I am not really keen on strawberry flavoured drinks but the benefits seem worth it, it has skin firming collagen within it, which I have not yet noticed as I have not been using these for long, but I look forward to hopefully seeing these results. I has green tea extracts and 12% essential protein, these really are great alternatives to your regular snacks!

Bloggers Fashion Week Must Haves - Part Two

Paul Mitchell
Paul Mitchell not only produce quality professional hair care products but take pride in standing up against animal testing and are committed to caring for people and the planet, so I was very excited to receive this lovely lot of goodies to review for you guys as part of Bloggers Fashion Week!
Super Skinny Serum - This leaves my hair smooth, shiny and pretty much completely frizz free, and with a fruity but subtle scent my hair smells lovely after use. The product is very concentrated so I only use one small pump over my whole head, which is great as once purchasing this product it will last for so long! I apply this on damp hair after washing beginning at the ends and working up.
Dry Wash - This is a waterless, dry shampoo to revive hair in-between washes, it left my hair feeling clean and with a clean scent that wasn't too overpowering. Dry shampoo is my best friend on days where my hair needs refreshing but I don't want to wash it just yet and this one is the best I have tried so far! It has a colourless formula which is perfect for darker hair colours and I found that this also adds a bit more texture and lift to my hair which is great for in between days.
Extra Body Daily Shampoo and Daily Rinse - I found that these did exactly what they say they do - they gave my hair texture and a volume boost, but they only worked on my hair when I did not go to bed with my hair wet, which I do tend to do often. A small residue was left in my hair but it was super easy to style and that is not always easy to do with my long hair.
Hold Me Tight - This is very quickly becoming my favourite hairspray, it has just the right amount of hold but with no stickiness and no heaviness. I have quite long hair and when my friend used this she did not get the same result as I did when using it and she has much shorter hair than mine. I have only ever dried cheaper, drug store brands, which are great, but considering hairspray is a product I use daily, I would recommend trying out this high end product.
Leave In Conditioner - I applied a small amount to damp hair and combed it through, it is blue and feels like a water gel but don't let this put you off! It prevents dryness by applying moisture, a bit like serum but it does not make my hair greasy or oily and it prevents my hair from frizzing.

Bravura
Bravura provide a free skincare advice service so you can make sure you are buying products that are suitalble to your skin type. When I received this cute package with the products inside along with the cute tote, I was immediately drawn to the colour, design and packaging of the products. They are in frosted glass bottles which is more environmentally friendly than the plastic ones they had before. As these products are acids it is important to read the instructions before use to avoid irritation.
Revitalising Ginseng Toner - This is a revitalising toner and also can be used to lower the PH of your skin. It is important to use an acid toner after you cleanse to rebalance the PH levels of your skin without irritation.
Glycolic Acid 10% - This can be quite a high percentage for those with sensitive skin, which I do have, so I was a little hesitant at first, but this left my skin smooth, clear and brighter. It works really well with the toner, reducing acne, and discolouration. It contains lavender to give the calming and soothing effect, and I found that this was perfect for my dry skin.
First Cleanse Oil - This is really good at removing make up. I can be used alone or mixed with water to create a milky cleanser, it removes even the toughest mascara. This can also be used in the morning to wake up your skin and leave a nice glow.
Chemical Peel Applicator Brush - Great for applying Bravura's acid products, it is made of Taklon a synthetic hair and the fan shape gives an even application.

Batiste Stylist
Already up and reviewed on my blog (here), it is no surprise that these are part of bloggers fashion week must haves; there a number of different products in this range and having tried four of them I can confidently say that these are miracle workers and do exactly as they say on the tin. None of them feel heavy in the hair and the texturising spray makes it easy to style your hair just the want you want it, and the volume spray gives my hair a nice oomph!

Urban Veda
I have also recently reviewed another product from Urban Veda here and really enjoyed using it, so I was happy to see that another one of their products was a must have for bloggers fashion week. The soothing body scrub doesn't feel too rough or scratchy on the skin but still does a good job of removing dead and dry skin and as it is enriched with antioxidants and vitamins it fights dehydration and really leaves my skin feeling cleansed after use. I love the smell of this product it has a truly spa like scent.

Bloggers Fashion Week Must Haves - Part One

Bloggers Fashion Week is upon us and I was asked to take part in reviewing some products and put together a must have's list full of beauty and fashion items.

MeMeMe Cosmetics
I'm so impressed with this brand, and having never used it before I was really pleasantly surprised at how lovely and luxurious the products are, as well as affordable. I am also a big fan of the packaging and design - a weakness of mine when it comes to make up products. My favourite of the four items is the 'Lip Glide' - a similar shade to one of my favourite Mac lipsticks 'Velvet Teddy', it is long lasting and easy to apply, and gives a matte finish but is not drying on the lips at all. The face illuminator gives a gold, glowy and dewy finish to the skin and easy to blend, I like to apply it with my fingers. There are eight stunning shades in the Ultimate eye palette, a mix of shimmer and matte ones, not extremely pigmented but easy to build up and blend out, the palette also provides a double ended brush. The shimmer stack has five powders and is a multi purpose product, it is pigmented, light reflecting and gives a youthful glow. Visit their website for different shades and products.
Shimmer Stack in Pink Zest
Beat The Blues Illuminator in Gold Oyster
Ultimate Eye Palette in Soft Rose
Lip Glide in Rich Truffle

PurePotions
Designed for skin in need of help, purepotions make natural creams, ointments and oils especially for those of us with dry skin. The products I was sent are fragrance free and not tested on animals - two gigantic pluses. I have only been using these for a few days, and I am already in love with the Skin Salvation Intensive Moisturising Ointment. It is made up of essential oils and beeswax, it does not have an over powering smell and softens when used due to body heat, it gradually becomes easier to apply. It is a miracle worker on dry skin and deeply moisturising -  I have already seen improvements. The bath and body oil acts as a replacement for a regular bath emollient and gives moisture to skin during bathing, I added one tablespoon to my bath and it made the bath quite slippery but my skin felt so smooth afterwards with no greasiness and the oil along with the moisturising ointment together is a dream match. The daily moisturising cream is full of vitamins to nourish the skin, also containing shea butter, it eliminates redness as well as dry skin and is a cream version of the skin ointment. It sinks into the skin quickly, and my skin appears much more healthier. The scar oil I unfortunately have not had much time to try out yet, but after using the other products I was kindly sent I am confident that it will be just as good as the other products, it not only works on scars but also stretch marks, uneven skin tone, dehydrated skin and ageing skin.

Thumbs Up Nail Wraps
Zero drying time nails is my new favourite thing. I love when my nails are painted, but I find actually painting them such a chore, maybe that is because I don't have particularly nice nails, but I also don't like having to wait around for them to dry after using polish and I nearly always smudge them afterwards because I can't sit still doing nothing for long. Nail wraps are a super easy and efficient way to get gorgeous nails without the drying time. Thumbs Up nails have so many designs and colours to choose from and I am adore the three I was sent to review. For best results: clean your nails beforehand with a nail polish to remove grease and contaminants, add a layer of base coat and let it dry before applying the nail wraps. Smooth the wrap down from the cuticle and smooth out creases before filing off the excess in a downward motion... so easy! I also applied a top coat and they are still in tact after five days!

Wet Brush - Detangling Brush Floral Print

£11.99 - Boots

Newly released in the UK at Boots, this brush can be used on wet or dry hair and removes tangles quickly, easily and painlessly.

I have been using a brush or comb in my hair during a shower for a number of years now, I tend to brush my hair once my conditioner is in to make sure all of my hair is covered, and the wet brush now means I have a tool specifically designed for this purpose. It slips through my hair really easily and doesn't leave any stray hairs in the brush afterwards, meaning no damage is being done to my hair.

I love the packaging it is bright and pretty and easy to use.

That Lame Company

That Lame Company produce super cute products at super affordable prices including phone cases and deskpads, innovated and designed by two graduates; Chloe and Charlie. Founded in 2014 and with exciting plans for the future these are just four prints from their collection of products that are completely blogger and instagram worthy!

This pack of four A6 art prints are appropriately named 'Insulting Incentives' and I absolutely loved them from the minute I saw them. Hand designed and digitally coloured they were created by thinking of the things we regularly find ourselves doing instead of when we are meant to be being productive and getting things done! They are relevant, funny and motivationally insulting, and give me a boost every time I read them.

UK postage is free (yay!) and overseas is just £2. Furthermore, their notebooks are made from 100% recycled materials, and I adore the packaging my products arrived in - so cute, so there really is no reason not to love That Lame Company.

Follow them on social media and visit their website to browse more products and find out a bit more about the company.

Urban Veda Purifying Body Wash

There are many environmental factors that affect the health of our skin in a negative way and Urban Veda have a range of products that are formulated using natural ingredients to leave skin less vulnerable to the effects of the environment.

'We believe the ancient wisdom of Ayurveda fits seamlessly into a modern 21st century lifestyle,' with the principles of Ayurveda an ancient health and wellbeing system based around plants therapeutic properties Urban Veda balances environmental factors with botanicals to detoxify and refresh skin and is formulated using herbs, flowers, fruits and multi vitamins. Additionally, Urban Veda helps to maintain skin's natural balance by infusing it with Omega-rich bio-oils and antioxidants.

This body wash smells clean and refreshing and although I usually go for fruity and sweet scents when it comes to body wash, this is a nice change and really makes me feel clean. This is due to an infusion of tea tree and spearmint which really gives a lift as well as botanicals Mulberry, Bearberry and Quassia to  nourish. Furthermore; 'Neem Oil detoxifies skin, working in synergy with collagen-boosting Arjuna extract to leave the whole body cleansed, hydrated and smooth,' I definitely feel this is true and have really enjoyed using this product. Plus, the packaging of their products come in bright colours which I find compliment their aims as well as well designed packaging to provide easy access to the product itself.

I highly recommend checking out this range of skincare products due to their benefits as well as comprehensible prices. Visit their website here: http://www.urbanveda.co.uk/ and follow them on their social media accounts:
